How do I reboot my eero device or eero network from the app?

If you need to reboot your individual eeros or your entire network, it’s as simple as tapping a button in the eero app (min. eero app version 2.10.0). While most customers will never need to reboot their eeros, rebooting devices tends to be a popular step in the troubleshooting process. Some common reasons to reboot your eeros:

  • Slow speeds on your network
  • Issues with one of your connected devices
  • A connected device is connected to the wrong eero

In the event of wanting to reboot your eero:

  1. Open the eero app
  2. Open the ‘Hometab and tap on the Online status button in the top centre of the screen
  3. Tap on the eero you’d like to reboot to open its options menu
  4. Scroll down and tap the ‘Reset’ button
  5. Select ‘Restart eero’ from the list of sub-options available

If you’d like to go a step further and reboot your entire eero network, take the following steps:

  1. Open the eero app and tap on the Settings tab
  2. Scroll down, find and select the ‘Advanced’ option
  3. Scroll down to ‘Reset’ at the bottom of the Advanced menu
  4. In the Reset menu, tap ‘Restart Network’, then ‘Restart Network’ again to confirm
